Celebrating The Seeds She Planted

10 years of growing purpose, cultivating inclusion

Dear Friend,

Ten years ago, Luann Brown planted seeds she would never fully see grow…

The seeds she planted were hope, belonging, purpose and possibility - rooted in one mother's belief that her son with autism, and families like hers, truly deserved a better life.

She dreamed of a world where her son would have purpose - where he would be recognized for what he could do, rather than judged for what he couldn't. She believed that every person's abilities, just like a seed, needed the right place to take root - somewhere they could be nurtured, encouraged and given a safe place to grow.

She planted the seeds. Our community nurtured them. And ten years later, look what we grew…

Homesteads for Hope has created a life worth living for people of all abilities - you, your child, your neighbor, your friend. Every week, hundreds gather in nature's classroom to learn, work and grow side by side - welcomed, valued and free from judgment. Because we don't just grow vegetables here - we grow people, purpose, friendships and belonging. And whether your a member, taken a class, volunteered, attended an event, shopped in our Farm Store or shared our story, you are this Community. You helped us grow.

Now, as we celebrate 10 Years of Harvested Hope, we're ready to break new ground...

We want to create more meaningful employment, more inclusive experiences, more pathways to purpose, meaningful lives and lasting connections - and someday soon, a place to truly call home.

But we can't build that future alone. As this year comes to a close, we're asking you to be part of what comes next. Your tax-deductible year-end gift - whether it's $10, $100, $1,000 or more - helps keep the opportunities happening at Homesteads for Hope growing while allowing us to reach toward something even bigger: more seeds of hope.

Today, you can help make “more” possible for the next 10 years…
